1 arrested, 1 wished to shoot Kelowna Teen in reference to the October dying

OMAHA, Neb. (WOWT) – Kelowna police have arrested one and are looking for another in connection with the death of a 19-year-old woman.

Kelowna police responded to the 33rd on October 29 and Weber for a personal injury report.

Upon arrival, officers found a 19-year-old woman in the driver’s seat of a vehicle who was suffering from a gunshot wound.

Nomi Herrera died in hospital on October 30th from her injuries.

Today, November 6th, a 15-year-old teenage woman was arrested on charges of complicity in first degree murder. An arrest warrant for first-degree murder was issued against 18-year-old Jaquan Haynes.

Anyone with information on Haynes’ whereabouts is asked to call 911 immediately.
