5 individuals hospitalized after being stabbed in West Kelowna
Officials with the Royal Canadian Mounted Police in West Kelowna investigate after “numerous” people were stabbed to death in the early hours of March 28th.
RCMP officers from the Kelowna and West Kelowna departments were called to Postill Lake Road shortly before 2:00 a.m. Sunday morning for reports of a knife stab at an outdoor gathering.
The officers “flooded the area” and found five male victims – two teenagers and three adults – with stab wounds.
Police refused to comment on the severity of their injuries, but said all five were being rushed to hospital for treatment.
A grown man has been arrested and the police do not believe there is any continuing risk to public safety.
Anyone with information about the incident is encouraged to call the West Kelowna RCMP at 250-768-2880.
