Power was knocked out to 1281 FortisBC customers in Magic Estates and parts of North Clifton Thursday, Aug. 11, 2022.

UPDATE 6:50 p.m.

Power has now been restored in the neighbourhood.

FortisBC reports the lights were turned back on at 6:47 p.m.

ORIGINAL 4:15 p.m.

The power is out to a wide area of Magic Estates and Clifton North.

FortisBC reports the lights went out at 3:49 p.m. to an area that stretches along Clifton Road from just past Cara Glen Way. It goes from Okanagan Lake to Upper Canyon Drive.

1,281 customers are affected. FortisBC lists the cause as unknown.

Repairs are underway but there is no estimated time when electricity will be restored.
