Energy restored in Magic Estates/Clifton North – Kelowna Information

Power was knocked out to 1281 FortisBC customers in Magic Estates and parts of North Clifton Thursday, Aug. 11, 2022.

UPDATE 6:50 p.m.

Power has now been restored in the neighbourhood.

FortisBC reports the lights were turned back on at 6:47 p.m.

ORIGINAL 4:15 p.m.

The power is out to a wide area of Magic Estates and Clifton North.

FortisBC reports the lights went out at 3:49 p.m. to an area that stretches along Clifton Road from just past Cara Glen Way. It goes from Okanagan Lake to Upper Canyon Drive.

1,281 customers are affected. FortisBC lists the cause as unknown.

Repairs are underway but there is no estimated time when electricity will be restored.

We’re aware of a power outage in #KelownaBC that is affecting about 1,200 customers. Our crews are currently investigating the cause of the outage and appreciate our customers patience as we work to restore power. For updates:
