Innkeeper’s Gala making a proper return to Kelowna – Kelowna Information

After two years away, the Innkeeper’s Gala is returning to Kelowna.

Hosted by the Hotel Eldorado, this will be the 31st annual Innkeeper’s Gala and it will benefit the Kelowna General Hospital Foundation and the Argus Foundation in support of cancer care.

Over the course of it’s 30-year history, the gala has raised more than $1 million for local charities in need, something Argus president and Hotel Eldorado owner Ted Callahan wants to see grow.

“We are very proud to once again support the Kelowna General Hospital Foundation through our Innkeeper’s Gala. Over the past thirty-one years this event has already raised well over a million dollars in support of the incredible work done at KGH and continues our fifty year commitment to a healthy community. We will do all we can to make this Innkeeper’s the best ever,” said Callahan.

KGH director of philanthropy Bettina Muller says the gala is one of the most sought after events in the city.

“We’re so excited to once again be one of the chosen beneficiaries, alongside the Argus Foundation,” said Muller. “For those who attended or supported the event in past years, know that your giving has made a profound difference! For over 30 years, this historical event has been raising much needed funds for Kelowna General Hospital and has supported a variety of funds such as electrophysiology, JoeAnna’s House, Perinatal care and so forth.”

“It is quite astonishing to see the legacy of this event not only span over three decades, but to see the tradition live on,” Muller continued. “We’re incredibly grateful to the hard-working team that pulls this off so effortlessly year after year. By purchasing your tickets, not only are you invited to one of the best celebrations in town, but you will also support innovation, collaboration, and technology advancement throughout the region in order to improve oncology patients’ journeys.”

The event is slated to take place on Saturday, Nov. 12 at 7 p.m.

You can expect live entertainment, delicious food, a selection of wines, beer, and other drinks. This year’s theme is formal — black tie, gowns, pearls and tuxedos.

You can get your tickets at Event Brite. More info on the event is here.
