A Kelowna company is set to appear on Dragons’ Den at the end of November.

Limitless MFG Owner Chase Van Buuren and his fiancé Cassidy Lidstone packed up a truck full of their product and drove down to Toronto in June to pitch their business to the dragons.

Although Van Buuren can’t share how it went, he says he felt confident going in.

“The first five minutes was the hardest and then we get into the flow of talking about the business and everything came a bit easier. I decently have a lot of confidence in it. It was surprising how long you film when you are in there. I keep watching it and I have watched every episode of the season so far. It is interesting to see what parts they focus on.”

Limitless MFG is a company based in Lake Country that specializes in truck accessories including sled decks, tonneau covers and more.

“I started the company about eight years ago and I was just doing parts and everything out of my home garage and about two years ago we ramped and we do all in-house manufacturing now.”

Van Buuren says he started out with a few dealers from Alberta.

“In his first big order he was still working in our house garage, and how may was it? Lidstone said.

“We assembled 20 decks in a matter of a week and they were going out of our garage onto a trailer and me and Cass would drive them 16 hours to Grand Prarie,” Van Buuren added.

The Dragons Den episode will air Thursday, November 25 on CBC at 5 p.m.
