Kelowna concludes the 4th driest summer time ever

OMAHA, Neb. (WOWT) – The meteorological summer ended on Monday as the 4th driest and 7th warmest in Kelowna.

For the months of June through August, Kelowna measured only 4.63 inches of rain, which is just over 7 inches behind for those months. The annual deficit is more than 11 “below average. Kelowna reached 46 degrees 90 times, 16 times 95 degrees and only once 100 degrees.


The average highs for early September are in the lower 80s and at the end of the month in the lower 70s. Average lows will fall in the 1940s by September 30th. The average monthly rainfall is 2.68 ″.
