Kelowna police arrest Millard North instructor for sexual assault

Kelowna police have arrested a Millard North High School teacher for sexually assaulting a teenage boy, which reportedly took place more than 10 years ago. According to a police report, 40-year-old Andrew McGreevy was arrested and charged with first degree sexual assault for an incident in 2008. Court documents show that the Millard North High School principal contacted the authorities after receiving several letters in who McGreevy was accused of sexual assault. Police report an incident involving a 17-year-old girl who was involved in a theater production with McGreevy at a small venue. The police report shows that she was backstage at the time of the incident. According to court records, the woman was wearing an open-back hospital gown as part of her costume when McGreevy began touching her through the gown. In a letter to the families of Millard North, the headmaster confirmed that McGreevy was employed as an Englishman, and the high school said it had become aware of allegations over the summer and had those allegations made by the Kelowna Police, Child Protection Services and the Commission for public practices reported. According to a police report, 40-year-old Andrew McGreevy was arrested and charged with first degree sexual assault in an incident in 2008.

Court documents show that the Millard North High School principal contacted authorities after receiving several letters accusing McGreevy of sexual assault.
