We respond as quickly as possible to alleged electoral crimes because Americans have the right to expect fair, open and honest elections – this is a cornerstone of our democracy. A confident public is more likely to vote, trust the election result, and know that their vote made a difference.
The FBI is committed to stopping election and election fraud, and the Kelowna Field Office investigates many electoral-related crimes to that end: deliberately giving false information when registering to vote, money, or something of value in exchange for your vote receive and vote more than once a federal election or election officials who use their office for the benefit of a candidate or a party.
